Democrats are angry that Hillary Clinton continues to get raked on the coals by the Republicans, as she will be grilled by Congress this Thursday.
Or, why is it even going on at all? Is it really just a witch hunt to get Hillary?
How quickly we forget.
The Benghazi Select Committee was formed over a year ago in May, 2014, before the 2016 election got under way. Proceedings were expected to be wrapped up in a matter of months, like most similar committees. Instead it has gone on even longer than Watergate Hearings, which were among the longest ever.
Why so long?
Because, the committee has been stonewalled time and again by the State Department and
Administration from getting records and data they requested, reports Committee chairman Trey
Gowdy .
Now that they finally got most of the requested emails from Hillary's private server it will
take time to go through all those and deal with the issues that may arise from them.
Why weren't the previous several investigations enough?
They were basically Democratic 'in-house' committees, such as the ARB, which we now
learn didn't call on key people on their own side. Nor, did they have the key emails
to work with.
At least the Select Committee includes Democrats.
If nothing else, with the creation of the Select Committee we have uncovered important
information about potential serious, even possible treasonous actions by former State Department head Hillary Clinton
and her emails, which may or may not have been hacked by foreign countries. We learned
that she broke Administration laws by having a computer 'private server.'
Really a Witch Hunt to knock Hillary from her Presidential bid?
If this were true, one would think Hillary and company would have gladly turned over
requested documents long ago before things got to this point. If she had cooperated from
the beginning she may not have even been asked to turn over her emails, let alone the
private server - of which she did everything possible to obfuscate.
They say lying and obfuscating will catch up in the end. So far, it looks like this could happen
to 'poor' Hillary.

So what could this new discovery be? The Conservative Tribune reviewed some older news reports to determine what information this committee could have.
Approximately one year ago, the British Daily Mail reported that an organization of CIA insiders, former top military officers and members of relevant think-tanks — calling itself the Citizens Commission on Benghazi — stated that the Benghazi attacks were possible because the United States had been arming Al Qaeda in Libya one year earlier.
Initially, the weapons, costing around $500 million, were intended for former Libyan strongman Moammar Gadhafi. Instead, the United States “switched sides in the war on terror, knowingly facilitating the provision of weapons to known Al Qaeda militias and figures,” said commission member Clare Lopez, a former CIA officer.
The aim of the Obama administration was to topple Gadhafi. Granted, he had caused trouble for the United States earlier, most notably during the Reagan administration, but, by the second decade of the 21st century, he was working closely and actively with the West to suppress Al Qaeda, as explained in the commission’s interim report (H/T U.K. Daily Mail)
This information was supported by The Blaze in its own investigation showing that a lot of weapons were being smuggled into Libya with American complicity before the Benghazi attack. None of it was to support Gadhafi and his decreasing number of followers.
A series of subsequent reports by the Conservative Tribune over the past few months based on various sources also imply that Al Qaeda in Libya was being armed by the United States.
Some of these weapons were earmarked for Syria, but it would not take a lot of imagination to conclude that some stayed in Libya to help Islamic rebel forces take over that country.
Furthermore, this may be why many publications, including the Conservative Tribune, have since speculated that the phony story blaming the Benghazi attack on an anti-Muslim YouTube video, which angered Libyans, was actually a quickly devised explanation to keep the American people from discovering that the Obama administration, with Hillary Clinton as secretary of state, made the Benghazi attack possible.

Washington (CNN) – Under fire from CIA contractors who were first-hand witnesses to the events in Beghazi, Libya, on September 11, 2012, the House Intelligence Committee on Thursday reaffirmed the committee’s report on the events that day. John Tiegen and Kris Paronto, CIA contractors who were on the ground in Benghazi the night of September 11, 2012, called the report “full of inaccuracies” and asserted in a statement that “the authors of the report printed them anyway despite testimony and other truthful information that proved those statements wrong.”

1-16-13 BREAKING NEWS! Bi-partisan Congressional Committee released findings January 16 that found major figures KNEW in advance that Benghazi was a terrorist action and 'preventable', according to chairperson Saxby Chambliss and others (Diane Feinstein was a key Democrat on the committee).
While the CIA was prepared to send immediate help to rescue our four men in Benghazi, the State Department wasn't and did nothing to save the four American leaders in and near the Libyan embassy. According to Chambliss State Department head at the time, Hillary Clinton and others have 'stonewalled' repeatedly ever since the September 11, 2012 incident , not giving specific answers as to what happened. It is the belief that there was a 'strategy' meeting of the State Department around the time of Benghazi when the idea for the 'video' excuse for the raid was concocted.
Also, at least four strong Al Quaida connections were noted from the report, refuting the State Departments statement that there was not connection between the Benghazi purpetrators and Al Quaida. The above news was the first real bi-partisan expression that indicates wrong-doing by the State Department. However, it must be noted that the report failed to single out Clinton, herself, interstingly; her name is only mentioned once, even though she was in charge.
Now , that there is definite bi-partisan confirmation as to guilt on the part of the State Department, what will be next. Will the issue be dropped or will State Department officials be singled out for possible convictions?
