NBC's Lisa Meyers REports Obama Knew People Would Not Be Able to Keep Their Insurance
and Onslaught of Cancelled Insurance, Male 'Pregnancy' coverage,etc..

Latest, Breaking 10/29):

OBAMA KNEW  IN 2010 THAT MILLIONS OF AMERICANS COULD NOT KEEP THEIR HEALTH INSURANCE

Just released from NBC news, Lisa Myers reports four sources deeply involved in the Affordable Care Act tell NBC News that 50 to 75 percent of the 14 million consumers who buy their insurance individually can expect to receive a “cancellation” letter or the equivalent over the next year because their existing policies don’t meet the standards mandated by the new health care law. The law states that as of March 23, 2010 people's existing insurance would be 'grandfathered' into the program, but shortly after that  the Department of Health and Human Services then wrote regulations that narrowed that provision, by saying that if any part of a policy was significantly changed since that date -- the deductible, co-pay, or benefits, for example -- the policy would not be grandfathered.

Buried in Obamacare regulations from July 2010 is an estimate that because of normal turnover in the individual insurance market, “40 to 67 percent” of customers will not be able to keep their policy. And because many policies will have been changed since the key date, “the percentage of individual market policies losing grandfather status in a given year exceeds the 40 to 67 percent range.”
That means the administration knew that more than 40 to 67 percent of those in the individual market would not be able to keep their plans, even if they liked them.
Yet President Obama, who had promised in 2009, “if you like your health plan, you will be able to keep your health plan,” was still saying in 2012, “If [you] already have health insurance, you will keep your health insurance.”

NO-BID WEBSITE CONTRACTOR WAS HIRED BY MICHELLE OBAMA'S PRINCETON CLASSMATE'S FIRM, Fellow Black Alumni Associate

We learn today through the Daily Caller and investigative reporter Audrey Hudson, herself, that Hudson's home was broken into and searched by a government swat team after it was learned that she was working on a story about  hiring of the 'no bid' contractor to build the new 'Affordable Care Act' or 'Obamacare' website.  Hudson said on a radio program Friday afternoon that she believed the government was 'out to get' her for uncovering the connection between President Obama's wife, Michelle Obama,  and a purported college friend who was awarded the handling of a 'no bid' hire for the major new health care website.  According to the Daily Caller  First Lady's Princeton classmate is a senior vice president at company that built failed Obamacare website.  Further connecting dots we learn that  the classmate, Toni Townes-Whitley,  and her Princeton classmate Michelle Obama are both members of the Association of Black Princeton Alumni.

10-22-13   THE WEBSITE IS DOWN!

20 VIEWS of OBAMACARE,  Health Care Reform Timeline - Affordable Health Care Act

THE SYSTEM IS DOWN!

We learn the government paid a 'no-bid' contractor $634 million to set up the 'Affordable Health Care' national website, which has been down or not letting people apply more often than not. This is the same contractor, the parent company of CGI Federal, purportedly  a 'friend' of the Obama administration that was fired by The Canadian government  last year for poor performance. Even Consumer  Reports is now telling people to wait a few weeks to apply to Obamacare. And if one tries to apply by phone you may find the phone lines  to be down or not responding.

If you're  lucky enough to get into a website such this person from New York, who used his State's version of Obamacare web application, you still may be pulling your hair out. WATCH THIS!

Meanwhile, in Washington DC, President Obama said today, October 21, that 'Obamacare is more than the website' and after the government pays millions to a  new team of 'top experts' these little glitches will be behind us.

Obamacare Bandaids

5  BROKEN PROMISES of OBAMACARE -
WHY OBAMACARE IS NOT AS 'SOLD' PRE-ELECTION:

1) Obamacare will cut the cost of your health care. If only. When Obamacare goes into effect next year, many Americans can expect STEEP increases in the cost of health care.    As recently as Friday, August 10 in the White House garden, the President again (falsely) promised lower premiums...
President Obama (promised)...that the cost of insurance would go down “by $2,500 per family per year.” ...In fact, the average 25 and 40-year-old will pay double under Obamacare what they would need to pay today, based on rates posted at eHealthInsurance.com (NASDAQ:EHTH). More specifically, for the typical 25-year-old male non-smoker, the average Obamacare “bronze” exchange plan in California will cost between 64 and 117 percent more than the cheapest five plans on eHealth. For 40-year-old male non-smokers, it’s between 73 and 146 percent more.
2) Obamacare will not increase the deficit. Calling for a massive new government program to cut costs is sort of like moving to Death Valley for the reduced air conditioning bills. Alas, it's not so.
Obamacare will increase the long-term federal deficit by $6.2 trillion, according to a Government Accountability Office (GAO) report released today.
Senator Jeff Sessions  , Ala

3) "If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor. Period." Soon, many Americans will be happy if they can find A DOCTOR, much less THEIR DOCTOR.
Eighty-three percent of American physicians have considered leaving their practices over President Barack Obama’s health care reform law, according to a survey released by the Doctor Patient Medical Association.

What good is health care, even the bad health care we'll get through Obamacare, if you can't find a doctor to see you when you're sick?
4) Obamacare will create jobs. That would be true if you added "...at the IRS" to the end of it, but companies have already begun to move millions of workers from full to part time to avoid punitive new costs under Obamacare.
Retailers are cutting worker hours at a rate not seen in more than three decades — a sudden shift that can only be explained by the onset of ObamaCare’s employer mandates.
Nonsupervisory employees logged an average 30.0 hours per week in April, the shortest retail workweek since early 2010, Labor Department data out Friday show.

...One way for employers to minimize the costs of providing “affordable” coverage to modest-wage workers is to shift more work to part-time, defined as less than 30 hours per week under ObamaCare.
So not only are they going to get crummy health care, they're getting their hours cut back, too. Thanks, Obama!
5) If you like your health care plan, you'll be able to keep it.

The Republican-led House has voted, for the 37th time, to repeal President Obama’s health care law, even though GOP lawmakers know the Senate will not follow suit.
The repeal passed on a 229-195 vote. Likewise, the American Public now has a majority in favor of repeal.

He has opposition even from fellow Republicans, but Sen. Ted Cruz is standing behind his decision to push for a vote to shut down the government as a means of defunding Obamacare.

"If we want to stop this train wreck from hitting hard-working American families, the time to do so is now," the freshman from Texas said Wednesday on Fox News Channel's "Special Report." President Barack Obama desperately wants the exchanges and subsidies in place by January, Cruz said, so the administration can "get people hooked on Obamacare so it can never be unwound."

ObamacareMassive New Rules Revealed for 2013

The continuing resolution that funds the federal government expires Sept. 30, and Cruz, along with Sens. John Cornyn, R-Texas, and Rand Paul, R-Ky., are hoping to garner enough votes to prevent the resolution from being re-enacted for another year. But Cruz said they don't currently have enough votes in either house and need the public to put pressure on Republicans.

Rep. Tom Cole, R-Okla., told Fox the action is the political equivalent of a temper tantrum and could create a backlash that could cost Republicans in Congress.

But Cruz argued that the power of the purse is the most important check and balance the Constitution gives Congress when dealing with and overreaching executive branch.

"If we're going to repeal it we've got to do so now or it will remain with us forever," Cruz said.

Bill to repeal ObamaCare tax hits 218 cosponsors
The Hill 6-14-13

A bill to repeal a new tax in President Obama's healthcare law now has 218 cosponsors in the House — enough to ensure it would pass.
The bill would repeal a new tax on health insurance plans, which is expected to raise roughly $100 billion over the next 10 years. Insurers and small businesses strongly oppose the tax, saying it will drive up premiums.
It's not especially surprising for a majority of the GOP-led House to support repealing the tax. The House has passed bills to repeal the entire healthcare law and to repeal or defund myriad individual provisions.
Still, hitting 218 cosponsors is a key benchmark for the law's critics.
"This largely symbolic yet important benchmark for repealing the health insurer fee shows the level of bipartisan support in Congress to do away with this misguided policy," said Joe Moser, interim executive director of the Medicaid Health Plans of America.
Reps. Charles Boustany (R-La.) and Jim Matheson (D-Utah) introduced the bill to repeal the insurance tax.

Retail lobby backs anti-ObamaCare bill

By Sam Baker 07/17/13 10:32 AM ET
The National Retail Federation said Wednesday it would score as a "key vote" a bill to delay the employer mandate in President Obama's healthcare law.
Retailers are among the harshest critics of the mandate, which requires large employers to offer affordable healthcare coverage to employees who work more than 30 hours per week.
The House is scheduled to vote Wednesday on a symbolic bill to formally delay the mandate for one year. It would codify the one-year delay the Obama administration announced earlier this month.
“We have repeatedly voiced concern about the effect of the employer mandate penalties on retail and chain restaurant jobs and job growth. We have also expressed concern about the rapidly diminishing amount of time to come into compliance with the ACA," NRF Senior Vice President David French wrote in a letter to Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio)
